Hospice of Madison is holding its annual Tree of Life ceremony on Friday, Dec. 4, at 6 pm at the Broyhill Chapel in Mars Hill.  This service is to help remember and honor loved ones who have passed away and to help families as they grieve their loss.  649-2705 Daniel Brott for information.

Madison County Christmas Pageant will be held on Friday, Dec. 4, and again on Sat., Dec. 5, at 7:30 pm.  The streets of downtown Marshall are transformed into those of Bethlehem through costumed townspeople, songs of the season and narration.  Over 35 cast members volunteer to bring this outdoor drama to life.  The choir is made up of members of various churches, residents and all who would like to come out and share in this time-honored tradition.  This is a wonderful way to start the Christmas season.
