Customer Rate Schedules

Below you wil find our rate schedules effective August 1, 2007. Residential and seasonal residential members may receive an additional credit per KWH during the winter months of December through March. The amount of this additional credit will be determined annually by the board of directors. For Small Commercial accounts contact FBEMC offices for more information on Monthly Minimum Charge and Deposit. For Large Power accounts contact FBEMC offices for more information on Determination of Billing Demand, Power Factor Adjustment, Fuel Factor Adjustment, Monthly Minimum Charge, Deposit and Service Provisions.

Residential Customer
Basic Facilities Charge	$10.00 per month
Energy Charge - NC Rate*	8.9 cents per KWH (Rates 1 & 2)
Energy Charge - TN Rate*	8.73 cents per KWH (Rates 5 & 6)
Plus Wholesale Power and Fuel Adjustment Charge (Or Credit) and Sales Tax where applicable.
*NC and TN rates are different due to differences in state taxes. NC has to pay a gross receipts tax and TN does not.

Seasonal Residential Customer
Basic Facilities Charge	$10.00 per month
Energy Charge - NC Rate*	8.9 cents per KWH (Rate 4)
Energy Charge - TN Rate*	8.73 cents per KWH (Rate 26)
Plus Wholesale Power and Fuel Adjustment Charge (Or Credit) and Sales Tax where applicable.

Small Commercial Customer
Basic Facilities Charge	Single Phase - $20.00 per month
	Three Phase - $30.00 per month
Energy Charge - NC Rate*	First 3000 KWH 8.75 cents per KWH (Rates 7 & 19)
	Over 3000 KWH 6.35 cents per KWH
Energy Charge - TN Rate*	First 3000 KWH 8.58 cents per KWH (Rates 11 & 21)
	Over 3000 KWH 6.23 cents per KWH
Plus Wholesale Power and Fuel Adjustment Charge (Or Credit) and Sales Tax where applicable.

Large Power Customer
Basic Facilities Charge	$30.00 per month
Demand Charge - NC Rate	50 KW - 1000 KW $9.35 per KW (Rate 8)
Energy Charge - NC Rate*	50 KW - 1000 KW 5.2 cents per KWH (Rate 8)
For 50 KW - 1000 KW in NC Demand usage of more than 400 hours (kWh ÷ KW > 400) is 4.55 cents per KWH
Demand Charge - NC Rate*	Over 1000 KW $11.00 per KW (Rate 8)
Energy Charge - NC Rate*	Over 1000 KW 4.40 cents per KWH (Rate 8)
For more than 1000 KW in NC Demand usage of more than 475 hours (kWh ÷ KW > 475) 3.79 cents per KWH
Demand Charge - TN Rate	50 KW - 1000 KW $9.16 per KW (Rate 12)
Energy Charge - TN Rate*	50 KW - 1000 KW 5.1 cents per KWH (Rate 12)
For 50 KW - 1000 KW in TN Demand usage of more than 400 hours (kWh ÷ KW > 400) is 4.47 cents per KWH
Demand Charge - TN Rate*	Over 1000 KW $10.78 per KW (Rate 12)
Energy Charge - TN Rate*	Over 1000 KW 4.31 cents per KWH (Rate 12)
For more than 1000 KW in TN Demand usage of more than 475 hours (kWh ÷ KW > 475) 3.71 cents per KWH

400-watt Mercury	$14.18 per month (existing fixtures only)
250-watt Lucalux Sodium	$12.60 per month
400-watt Lucalux Sodium	$16.54 per month

Residential Generation
Basic Facilities Charge	$10.00 per month
Generation Credit	2.183 cents per kWh (Rate 23)

Commercial Generation
Basic Facilities Charge	Single Phase - $20.00 per month (Rate 24)
