French Broad EMC currently serves over 35,000 customers in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. Our service area is shown below in the map of the four Western North Carolina counties and two Eastern Tennessee counties in which we provide electricity. The service area is colored in tan in the counties of Buncombe, Cocke, Madison, Mitchell, Unicoi and Yancey.
